How my Wife's Bout with Cancer Helped me Create the RockStar System For Success...
In October 2006, my wife Natasha was diagnosed with cancer - Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Within two days she was in surgery, and within a week she started chemotherapy.
Although it didn't feel like it at the time, we were very blessed because we owned our own business and had gotten to the point where the business would run without us if it had to.
Well, now it had to.
Natasha was basically down for seven months, laying in bed most of the time in severe, horrible pain. It was my job now to comfort her and take care of our three small boys - Tyler 8, Ryan 7, and Hayden 4.
I had to take the kids to school, pick them up from school, take them to their sports, take them to play dates - you get the picture. At the same time I had to take my wife to chemo, to the doctors, do all the grocery shopping, pay all the bills for the house and the company, make sure the company was still running, etc.
Most of the moms reading this are saying, "This is what I do every day. What's he complaining about?"
And they're right. But I'm a guy, and I just wasn't used to doing all this. Plus the stress of not knowing whether my wife was going to live or die added to my overwhelm. And all through this I kept thinking to myself, "What if I had to go to a full-time job? It would be impossible to do all this." We both have no family in the area - we would have been screwed.
But, you know what? I did not have to go to work every day, and I was able to focus on my family during a very trying time.
I vowed that if we got through this nightmare I would share my story, and share how we created a very successful business, and share how we created multiple streams of income so that if this happened to anyone else, they might have the same chance we had to get through it.
Thus was born Craig Duswalt's RockStar System For Success.
We're all getting up in age where, eventually, we'll need time to take care of family matters. If you have a successful business where you can make money while you're away, trust me, you will have a better chance at a full recovery.

Hi, my name is Michael Stevenson. I'm the founder of Transform Destiny, a full-service hypnotherapy office and training center in Fountain Valley, California. I'm the author of the best-selling book Learn Hypnosis... Now!and creator of the music CD, Hypnotic Trancescapes Vol. I - Mystical Forest. In the following paragraphs, I'll share with you a little about myself. I hope to learn more about you at one of our events, or perhaps one-on-one.
I began my professional career, not as a programmer of minds, but as a programmer of computers. I developed a love of computer programming at ten years old when my grandparents sent me to a computer day-camp put on by Radio Shack.
I grew up knowing that I wanted to help people. As a child, when people asked me "What would you like to be when you grow up?", the answers shifted from fireman, to policeman, to doctor, and many other helping professions. I began to think more and more about being a doctor or psychologist, but honestly didn't have very much trust in people I had met in either career. Plus, the idea of adding more years of school to my life wasn't an attractive prospect to a teenager. So, I ended up developing my computer skills and focused on that as a career. Eventually, I opened Liquid Mirror Enterprises, a small, independent publishing company where I published my own software titles.
As many teenagers did at the time, I took up smoking. I fully admit it - I hated smoking at first, but I did it because I thought it would make me look cool in front of my friends. By the time I had been smoking a couple years, I started to realize the stigma around smoking and regretted starting. But it was too late - I was hooked. Not only was I hooked, I was smoking as much as two and a half to three packs of cigarettes each day. I landed myself in the hospital several times with bronchitis and just hated it. But I loved it at the same time. I was a slave to my cigarettes.
At the age of 25, some friends and I went to the Orange County Fair. One of our favorite things to do is see the stage hypnotist, Mark Yuzuik. He's got a phenomenal show that I could watch a thousand times. On the way out of the show, I noticed something I had never seen before - Mark's product table. The first thing that caught my eye was "Stop Smoking." So, I bought the tape and went home and listened to it for three days.
Normally, the first thing I would do in the morning - sometimes before even opening my eyes - is grab my "smokes" and a lighter and head for the front door. On the third morning after listening to this tape, for some reason, I just didn't. I decided I'd have a cigarette after breakfast. When breakfast was done, I decided to wait until after my shower. When my shower was done, I figured I would wait until I got in the car. And so on and so forth, until before I knew it (literally!), it dawned on me that I had been a non-smoker for three days. I was still skeptical at first, but amazed, and I began to seek out information about hypnosis on the internet.
My first three purchases on the internet where ebooks - one in particular, which came from a reputable trainer in the industry, but which told me practically nothing for nearly $30. I was livid. I couldn't believe people were selling such junk on the internet. After reading nearly every book in print (and many which are no longer in print) and taking a live certification training, I began thinking back on those original ebooks. I realized, when people want information on hypnosis, they are searching the internet, and they were finding those same three junk ebooks I was finding. I couldn't stand for that. I knew I could do better, and I set out to do just that. Within nine months, I released "Learn Hypnosis... Now!" which has gone on to be published in paperback and audio book, and has become a best-seller in its field.
I am a certified trainer of NLP, Hypnotherapy and TIME TechniquesTM, so in addition to seeing clients regularly, I also train students in those fields in my office in Fountain Valley, CA and around the nation.

The benefits of joining a mastermind group vary from one person to another. What one person REALLY needs and benefits from may be entirely different from another member in the same group. Just get hold of a copy of the book "Mastermind Groups" by Moe Nawaz and you will get an idea of what skills and knowledge are necessary! There are other benefits of joining a group as well. Here are some of the most common benefits for business clients and members that join a mastermind group.
Accountability
One of the biggest negatives of being an entrepreneur can be the lack of accountability.
"If at first you don't succeed, deny you were ever trying."
Not because we believe in it, but because we have seen so many entrepreneurs who live it! The group holds you accountable to what you say you are going to do. When you know you're going to be meeting with you mastermind group in a few days, you make SURE you have something positive to report on your progress.
Imagine as a business owner making a goal in front of your peers in your mastermind group to come up with your 3rd quarter marketing plan by the time you meet for your next mastermind session. As the time comes closer and you've not done anything (procrastination and time management may be an issue for you) the though of being in front of your peers and telling them you didn't do ANYTHING sink in. You know and respect the others in this group. It's not going to be "that one" who never does what they say they are going to do. So you have two options: 1) Make progress on your plan or 2) Don't go to your mastermind group session.
Not going doesn't make any sense! You're losing out on other valuable information for your business. So what makes the most sense? Work on your marketing plan. Not JUST because you'll look better in front of your group… but more importantly because it's IMPORTANT for your business! The accountability just helps to push you to do those important things!

The benefits of joining a mastermind group vary from one person to another. What one person REALLY needs and benefits from may be entirely different from another member in the same group. Just get hold of a copy of the book "Mastermind Groups" by Moe Nawaz and you will get an idea of what skills and knowledge are necessary! There are other benefits of joining a group as well. Here are some of the most common benefits for business clients and members that join a mastermind group.
Accountability
One of the biggest negatives of being an entrepreneur can be the lack of accountability.

Not because we believe in it, but because we have seen so many entrepreneurs who live it! The group holds you accountable to what you say you are going to do. When you know you're going to be meeting with you mastermind group in a few days, you make SURE you have something positive to report on your progress.
Imagine as a business owner making a goal in front of your peers in your mastermind group to come up with your 3rd quarter marketing plan by the time you meet for your next mastermind session. As the time comes closer and you've not done anything (procrastination and time management may be an issue for you) the though of being in front of your peers and telling them you didn't do ANYTHING sink in. You know and respect the others in this group. It's not going to be "that one" who never does what they say they are going to do. So you have two options: 1) Make progress on your plan or 2) Don't go to your mastermind group session.
Not going doesn't make any sense! You're losing out on other valuable information for your business. So what makes the most sense? Work on your marketing plan. Not JUST because you'll look better in front of your group… but more importantly because it's IMPORTANT for your business! The accountability just helps to push you to do those important things!

I spent many years in the corporate environment doing training. I have always been drawn to human resource management and dealing with people on a personal level. It was that draw that led me to seek a Masters’ Degree in counseling from the University of Phoenix. I have had a private practice in Denver since 2007.
My passion is to see men set free from compulsive behaviors with sexual addiction, pornography, and other behavioral addictions; and the financial chaos that often follows. The shame, trauma, anger and anxiety that are bound up at the core of these behaviors will all be addressed both in groups and individual counseling.
I use an eclectic combination of experiential and choice therapy, along with a 12-step program especially designed for sexual addiction. I also use biblical principles for identifying core issues as defined in Hebrews 12:15: “…See to it that no ones comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled.”
I have been in recovery from sexual addiction since 2002. My expertise comes from having lived a duality for most of my adult life, becoming addicted to pornography at the age of twelve. My own marriage has come through the trials of this addiction, having been healed and restored. Through these experiences it gives me the ability to identify with men who struggle with similar issues and help them in their process of recovery.
I have been associated with Dr. Doug Weiss’ Freedom group network, offering support to sex addicts since 2007. I am presently in process with a certification from AASAT (American Association of Sex Addiction Therapists) under the supervision of Dr. Weiss. I am a consultant and counselor with Excell Addictions Treatment Center in Denver.

Sharon holds a board certification in Biblical Counseling obtained through Light University (American Association of Christian Counselors) with an emphasis on sexual healing. Sharon has been ordained as a pastor through the Missionary Church International.
Associations include: Youth with a Mission, The Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary, Women’s Aglow Fellowship, and Healing House, American Association of Christian Counselors, and The Missionary Church International.
I have been through ten years of (sexual addiction) partners’ recovery. After years of living in denial and shutting down emotions, I have been able to make the journey back to living within my own heart and learning to feel again. It is this journey that has given me entrance to the hearts of those who struggle as partners of sex addicts. My passion is to teach others to truly live out of their hearts and to find their significance, security, and acceptance in the Lord.
My primary focus is leading partners’ groups using a twelve-step program adapted from sound Biblical principles, especially designed for partners. Co-dependency will be addressed, and learning how to establish healthy boundaries. Partner’s recovery groups are a safe place to learn and process the intricacies of living with an addict.
