Finally, Lori led us through a guided meditation to work out any questions and/or problems we are facing with one of our children that we do not seem to be able to "fix."

Michele Barak talked about working with middle and high school kids in a Native American inspired circle format, which is making its way through the Los Angeles public school system. The idea behind the project is to teach kids how to both listen and communicate authentically and without judgement. Her work with kids and her global travels have inspired her to put together a collection of true stories from around the globe that highlight the common ties that bind humanity. Our second interview was with professional artist Nina Weiss, who juggles a full-time passion with motherhood. She shared her belief that women can, indeed, have it all and that there is a difference between a sacrifice and a choice. She also teaches art and talked a lot about how teaching adults how to paint landscapes has helped her in her own parenting skills.

Theresa Henson opened the show by sharing what she is learning about inclusiveness and exclusiveness as an employee at the St. Gertrude's Benedictine Monastary in Cottonwood, ID. We discussed how the nuns discern who is the right candidate to join their order. It was also a conversation about how our exclusive time with ourselves can help know who we are so that we can then be more inclusive generally in our lives. Theresa was followed by an interview with the Rev. Merilyn Davis, who has worked extensively with military families, children of single parents and divorce. This was a beautiful conversation about talking to our children so that they feel listened to and heard. Lori finished the show with a guided meditation to speak to our inner child about any ailments we are experiencing in our bodies.

Her new book Freefall is the story of her transformation and incredible philosophy for life. Today she works as a corporate leadership trainer and transformational coach. Her 3-day seminars change people for good and for ever. This is an incridibly inspiring interview that, despite some technical difficulties with the line to New Zealand, is worth a listen.

In this broadcast, the 5th Tuesday of March, Lori and I each gave a spiritual lesson that we learned from our children. Then in our Truly Amazing Woman segment I honored all the moms of my generation who are facing less than ideal choices about work, family, balance and finances. Our guest was Lori Aletha, Director of the NW Center of Enlightenment and an Intuitive Counselor, Tarot Reader, spiritual teacher and minister. We had a fascinating conversation about past-life regression therepy and inner child work. She talked at length about how to connect with our children on multiple levels - both in terms of our daily interactions with them and our past life connection to them. As a great grandmother (of 15 no less!), Lori has been involved in Metaphysical studies for 40 years. Her story is an inspiring glimpse at how a child's connection with who they are as a soul can rise up from the ashes of suppression and live to teach the world about who we really are. It was a beautiful show.

This week we explored the world of our dreams with dream expert and author Darlene Montgomery. She is also the editor of the Conscious Women, Conscious Lives book series and a former story editor of Chicken Soup for the Soul Canada. In total she has read well over 6,000 stories and has compiled many healing essays in her Conscious Women series. On this show, we also had Cara Nitz giving a review of Smartipants cloth diapers, which was really interesting. Our Truly Amazing Woman was a surprise to co-host Lori Hamilton, as Leta did a special tribute to her sister.
