Girlfriendit: Press On with Laurie Beth Jones and Deborah Raney

“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”                               ~ Philippians 3:14

Have you ever met someone and initially thought, “How does she come up with such amazing ideas? Wow, God has really gifted her with such wild talents and skills. She is so blessed.”   But then, the more you came to know her, you realized that despite being gifted and blessed, she worked really hard at being so talented?  Not only did she work hard to develop her talents, but she continues to work hard.  She presses on, day in and day out.

People like that don’t just dream about what could be; they DO. They keep moving forward, they seize opportunity, they show up, they persevere. They work and edit and retry and rewrite. They stay rejuvenated by pressing on like Paul tells us to do in scripture.

So if you are reading this right now in the “Dreamer Mode”, ask God how you can take your vision to the “Doer Mode”!   Listen in as we chat with two creative geniuses and discover the answer to the question, "How did they come up with such amazing ideas?"  They worked hard at it. They pressed on . . .
