Alison Rhodes, also known as The Safety Mom, www.safetymom.com has exploded onto the national scene as the preeminent voice on kid's safety, wellness and healthy living.  She is always on the lookout for the issues facing all children - newborns to teens as well as the entire family. 

Alison is driven through her own personal tragedy.  In 1997 she lost her first son Connor to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.   She is committed to keeping kids safe and healthy and sparing other parents the grief she experienced.  Her passion has led to her success and launched her as a national spokesperson and TV personality.  Over the years Alison has expanded her career platform to include the gamut of issues facing children today from cyber bullying and teen sex to drown prevention and toy safety.  Whether the backdrop is a corporate event, large association trade show or PTA gathering, Alison has worked tirelessly to educate parents about the range of dangers and how to become smart about safety.  Alison believes that a child's parents are their greatest safety advocate and coaches parents that when it comes to dealing with their children, it's important to be parents first and friends second.  

Her ability to connect with parents in a down-to-earth, uplifting and engaging manner while providing important parenting information has made Alison a sought-after guest on many national television shows including The Today Show, Fox & Friends, CNN International, CNBC Squawk Box and The Doctors.  Everyday she offers her insight and tips to readers on her blog, The Safety Chronicles and on other popular parenting sites such as Parenting Weekly and Baby Weekly.

Join Alison as she will be talking to Todd Storch, Founder & Executive Director of Taylor's Gift Foundation.  Todd's daughter, Taylor lost her life in a tragic skiing accident on March 15, 2010 at the age of 13.  Through organ donation, Taylor blessed five lives. 

Taylor's Gift Foundation is dedicated to increase organ donation through the enligtenment and education of our youth.

Also joing Todd, is the gentlemen that received his daughter's kidney and pancreas.  He was 25+ years insulin dependent and is now diabetes free.
