Wednesday, March 10th--Traci Bisson from The Mom Entrepreneur Group - Mar 06, 2010

I am delighted to have Traci Bisson- one of my role models when it comes to owning a successful business with competence and integrity- here on Learning and Laughter with Louise!  Here is her story as told on her amazing website: http://www.TheMomEntrepreneur.com

She admits to being broke at the time and less than sure about what her next steps would be.

But from bare-bones beginnings, Traci spent her remaining savings of $18.49 on "nice paper and envelopes" from Staples as her first step in running her own business. From there, her firm Bisson Barcelona grew to service writers and authors, a mostly ignored and misunderstood market, and individual business professionals.

Come learn more about Traci, The Mom Entrepreneur Group, Her new concept- The Baby Business Shower (BBS) and answers to some of your questions or comments (leave them here.)

Brenda Nixon- Let's talk about kids birth to kindergarten age! - Feb 25, 2010

I love having people who understand and can clearly explain to others about child development. That is why I am so pleased that fellow host on Toginet Radio, Brenda Nixon is joining us, When I tried to come up with an adequate bio for all of you to read it dawned on me that her own words are best from her website which are as follows:

"Brenda grew up as the notorious middle child who still dares to color outside the lines. She lives with her husband and two daughters enjoying vacations to the OBX, organic foods, dark chocolate, and garage sales. Her devoted office mates are Opie and Andy...two mini-doxies.

She earned a Masters Degree in Religious Education, worked as a hospital chaplain, parent educator, and then served as the parenting expert on FOX TV4 in Kansas City, while living in Missouri.

In 2001, The Nixons moved to Brenda's home state, Ohio. Today, she speaks nationally, writes, and teaches on child behavior and parenting."

Now one thing you need to know about Brenda is that she loves to answer questions from parents with young children- so I am depending on people to call in at our guest line:

1-877-864-4869

And if you don't already have a copy of her common sense and "user friendly" parent guide-"the birth to five book"-  well you need to listen and find out why you need this essential guide to parenting young children!!  ans-serif; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; font-size: 10px;">

YOu can listen to BRENDA HERE at http://www.Toginet.com

She airs her popular show, The Parents Plate at 10a.m. ET on Tuesdays!
