The Tucker Family serves and lives in Italy – and their son, Raphel, attends Wyoming (the family’s SLR) Virtual Academy online, gaining an augmented educational experience that ignites the entire family. The experience has translated to significant advantages for Raphel, including learning Japanese, Italian, and he’s now Spanish. It has brought Art History to life, taught the family world history, and created a love of learning demonstrated with the energy and the number of electives Raphel undertakes. His favorites are Digital Arts and Astronomy, subjects seldom taught in public brick and mortar schools.

Christina Tucker has appreciated the time spent as Raphel’s Learning Coach, and the 19 countries they’ve visited, and experiences taken are possible since learning takes place on demand and as challenging as Raphel needs. Military children often experience multiple relocations, with maintaining educational consistency challenging.
