Airing LIVE every Thursday night at 8pmCDT/9pmEDT Tuning in to Second Chances is like coming home to warm, fresh-baked cookie smells, a hug from grandma, or an enthusiastic tail-wagging greeting from your dog. You will find compassion, understanding, and a genuine appreciation for you as the listener.
Second Chances, hosted by Midge Noble, a Licensed Professional Counselor, will affirm you where you are, inspire you to be the type of person you would want your kids to become, and challenge you to think outside the box. Midge will offer her unique and witty approach as she gives expert advice in current topics related to children's issues, animal advocacy, and information that can improve our minds, body, and spirit.
I am excited about the path we are about to take together and I value the time we will share. So take a deep breath, open your heart, open your mind, and join me every Thursday, 8p.m CDT/ 9p.m. EDT. Let's have some fun!
Michele Noble, nicknamed Midge, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of NC. She currently works at Carolina Counseling Associates in Asheboro as a child and family therapist. She has worked with children and families since 1985. Midge has worked as a school counselor, a counselor for terminally ill children and their families, and as a mental health therapist. She works extensively with children and families who have lived through abuse, neglect, loss, foster care, and adoption. Midge believes that any trauma can be overcome by choosing happiness, and by choosing to be a survivor and not a victim.
Midge held the office of President for the Licensed Professional Counselor's Association of North Carolina in 2005. She is currently a member of that association, LPCANC and a member of AMHCA, American Mental Health Counselors Association.
Midge has published two children's books. The first book, SHEBA, Home Is Where Your Heart Is focuses on abuse, neglect, learning to trust again and finding your forever home. Her second book, ICE CUBE AWARD, Learning To Be Cool Under Pressure focuses on anger management, bullying, and finding your inner wisdom to manage problems without aggression. She donates a portion of the proceeds from the sales of her books to one day realize a no kill animal shelter in her community by bolstering spay/nueter efforts.
Midge loves her family, which includes her four-legged kids, camping, hiking, the mountains, yoga, cooking, advocating for animals, helping kids find their inner voice, and living as a vegan.
