An Overview of the Recent Vienna Congress on the Future of Logotherapy
Once again, Talk Sense Radio___The Meaning Connection is delighted to have Guest Host Marshall Lewis to provide an overview of the recent Vienna Conference on the Future of Logotherapy. Uniquely qualiifed to present this important view for all those who could not travel to the Congress this year, Marshall will not only report on the Events but answer questions from Logotherapists around the world on the topic.
Marshall H. Lewis, M.A., is a Diplomate in Logotherapy, a Kansas Licensed Masters Level Psychologist, and Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist. He earned his master's in clinical psychology at Marshall University in 1986 and has practiced psychotherapy since then. Marshall presently serves as a Regional Director for a rural and frontier community mental health center. In this capacity he is responsible for mental health program development in three counties of southwest Kansas.
Marshall is a Ph.D. candidate in the Center for Jewish-Christian Studies at the Chicago Theological Seminary. He is presently writing a dissertation that develops a hermeneutic, or means of interpretation, based on logotherapy. This Franklian hermeneutic will be used to explore the Biblical Book of Job as an existential challenge to the reader.
In his spare time, Marshall produces the monthly LogoTalk podcast (www.logotalkradio.com) and maintains a small private practice in logotherapy (www.defiantpower.com).
