Bio:  Phyllis Pometta is a woman who wears many hats.  She had started her entrepreneurial career as the founder and designer of a unique product business, Bandana Boutique.  Her creativity allowed her to sew anything using a standard size bandana.  She would make crib bedding sets, skirted onesies, valances, table cloths, pillows and more.  Bandana Boutique was asked to create products for an episode of the hit TV show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that currently airs on ABC Sunday evenings, and she participated in celebrity gift suites.  It wasn't until then that she knew her real passion was to help other woman business owners get their products to celebrities at a much lower cost. Without having a lot of money for advertising and marketing, she was forced to dig up her old marketing skills that were learned in college.

Following her dream and passion, she shut down her sewing machine and traded that in for a celebrity gifting company that she now calls, Baby Swags (babyswags.com).  It has become a mission of Baby Swags to provide marketing and public relations strategies to other entrepreneurial women in business who do not have the big time budgets as some other businesses do. In all reality many businesses are started on a shoestring budget and by a stay at home mom who will proudly refer to herself as a mom-entrepreneur.  Since it's start in September 2006, Baby Swags has successfully 'gifted' over 500 celebrities, helped over 300 WAHM companies and provided products to several charitable organizations.  Client products have been seen on many A-List celebrities.  Baby Swags has hosted the "Rockin Lollipop Lounge" during the 2009 Baby & Tween Celebration LA Expo as well as providing gift bags for 250 audience members viewing the hit medical show, "The Doctors".  She has contributed to various entrepreneurial books and magazines such as Inc. Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens and has been interviewed by various media and print outlets.  With the success that has come with Baby Swags, the company has expanded it's target market to reach tween, teen and adult products that are promoted under the parent company name, Unforgettable PR (unforgettablepr.com).  While Baby Swags caters to the needs of work at home moms and their products, Unforgettable PR caters to the needs of existing companies who are looking for ongoing and/or exclusive public relations services. Unforgettable PR works closely with it's clients to provide them with various marketing and public relation options tailored to their company's needs.

Phyllis has built up relationships with many start-up businesses and has offered them ways to brand their business and products to celebrity new moms and their babies via celebrity gifting. She has also built strong relationships with many of Hollywood's "Gatekeepers" and Celebrities and has a strong belief in that communication and customer service is the most valuable asset in any company's success. She has and will always put the needs of her clients first.

Above all, Phyllis is a mom to three beautiful children, Alyssa 11, Scotty 8 and Gianna 5, and has been married to Steve since 1995.  They are currently residing in Plainfield, Illinois.  Phyllis has been able to bridge and maintain a healthy balance between work and home. She is a role model to her children as her oldest daughter has started her own blog, appropriately titled, Celebrity Teen Blog and is an aspiring young entrepreneur designing bracelets for friends, family and celebrities. In her spare time Phyllis enjoys blogging on her parenting site, themommymentor.com about her family, daily life struggles, saving money, weight loss, cooking, organizing, relationships, and hopes to add a touch of inspiration and motivation. She loves social media and is often be found on Twitter or Facebook networking, sharing celebrity, client and business news or simple ideas for upcoming projects.
