Witnessing and assisting others through severe trauma author, psychologist, & spiritual teacher Ernie Vecchio discovered the Soul’s Intent. Outside the control of the ego and no longer tethered to fear, people were set free. Learn their truth and find out with purpose what they found by accident.
Depth Work is a personal growth process which brings hidden powers out of your shadow and into awareness. Everyone has these hidden powers but few know how to allow themselves to use them. Our experience(s) with suffering puts layers and layers between our inner divinity and the outside world.
Depth Work explores this inner landscape (Innerscape) discovering the gold that comes only from our suffering. Hidden in the dark, its release allows us to become who we really are. Depth Work embraces our journey and offers meaning where there doesn’t seem to be any. More importantly, in the name of Love it reveals the depth and worth of our personal stories.

WHAT IS SHADOW?
The term "shadow" was first used by Carl G. Jung to describe a repressed or denied aspect of the Self. He asked: “If you got bit by a snake, where would you get the antidote?” The common answer: “The hospital or the doctor.” The truth, of course, is we get it from the snake. Jung teaches: “The same place we get the poison is the same place we get the cure.” Imagine, most of us have been taught to reject or cast this quality out.
As we mature, we learn that these unacceptable qualities are at the core of our passion. Unrecognized or out of our awareness, shadow creates the friction and ‘angst’ to push us forward. We know this driving force as ego, but few understand what is pulling us. Knowing your shadow reveals this wonderful and eternal human gift.
In Depth Work, you learn your soul’s image for "shadow" as well as what the soul has to say about your divinity. Shadow work teaches us that there is no such thing as waste in the human experience.
HOW DO I RECOGNIZE AND CONVERT MY SHADOW?
It is likely that you are aware of shadow as what you tend to project onto others. When you deny a trait in yourself, you will be very aware of this trait in other people. Admiration of another is also an example of projection. Things you like about yourself, projected onto someone else, makes them twice as attractive. Our shadow is the veil or lens in which we paint our external world. Through its eyes, we see the best and worst of the human condition.
Projection happens on a conscious level and usually is as deep as most people go in there personal discovery. Conversion happens when you recognize shadow at the unconscious level.
WHY WOULD I DO DEPTH WORK?
At the core of the human experience is a divine quality that wants to self-express. It is hidden behind the shadow. It contains great strength and power. Our shadow holds the key to creativity and untapped energy. Rejected, denied, viewed as unacceptable it’s like a little kid behind you in the car. Kicking the back of your seat it asks incessantly: “Are we there yet? Are we there yet?’
How you respond to this low level agitation and this inner voice of dissatisfaction makes all the difference in the world. Typically, most people respond automatically the way they were taught. This approach is tied to patterns and may not get you where you want to go. In contrast, Depth Work teaches you how to invite this quality into the front seat, reveals what it truly wants, how to bring it into the present, and how it is connected to your soul’s intent.
WHAT IS MY INNERSCAPE?
It is a profound view of the human spirit. Using reliable and predictive methods you will be introduced to an aspect of the self that heals. Knowing your Innerscape literally provides a unique opportunity to witness and observe your inner life. Imagine being able to view where you’ve been, where you are going, and how it is all connected. Not just as past material of your life experiences, but also as it unfolds in your daily life.
Innerscape is a way to guide the interactions between your ego and the human spirit. Teaching from this perspectiv offers a reference point to speak of a reality otherwise out of awareness. The experience becomes a measure of your true nature, spiritual growth, and emotional maturity. In fact, how you are finding balance internally becomes a reflection of your relationship with compassion. Few individuals are aware of how to cultivate this attribute, let alone how it operates in their daily lives.
HOW IS DEPTH WORK DONE?
You can choose to experience Depth Work in one of two ways.
First, you may choose to experience Depth Work in a coaching/mentoring relationship. In this context, you will have the privacy of working one-on-one with me via phone consultations. Or, secondly, choose private sessions with me lasting from 60 to 90 minutes.

WHAT IS THE DEPTH WORK PROCESS LIKE?
The Depth Work process begins by asking the question: "Who am I and how can I find my purpose?” The aspect of the self (i.e. Soul) that observes and orchestrates your life becomes the guiding force in your process. Most often, people work on material that falls into one of these categories:
- to understand why they behave in a certain way;
- to get help or support for unfolding more of themselves;
- to work with feelings like fear, grief, anger or shame;
- to break through old patterns of behavior.
Using the Depth Work tools, the mentor/coach helps you symbolically reconstruct your inner life, so the shadow can be identified and viewed objectively. Mentoring or teaching becomes helping you with powerful techniques to re-capture and harness the energy of the shadow. What unfold are two aspects of the self (soul and spirit) that are not usually in your awareness. Options for dealing with this energy are measured by what you want to have happen. The process offers a safe place to BE and allows the emergence of the authentic self.
Depth Work generally involves the safe exploration of deep emotions. Each human emotion becomes a doorway to an expansive internal reservoir of energy.
- Anger opens up to our ability to set our boundaries. It helps us learn when to say, "Yes" and when to say, "No." It keeps us from getting trapped in unhealthy situations, and it helps us know who we really are.
- Sadness is a doorway to our connection with other people. It opens us up to love, revealing our vulnerability and desire for loving relationship. Sadness helps us connect with the spiritual realities we hold sacred. It helps us stay in tune with our bodies, and with nature.
- Fear can help us detach from a situation, and look at it objectively. Fear can be a wonderful advisor, which creates new options for our future and counsels us about the present.
- Joy can inspire us to live our dreams. Joy can give us courage and direction when we are lost, and bless us with the knowledge that our lives have real meaning.
WHAT IS THE SOUL’S INTENT?
The Soul’s Intent acknowledges an interaction between the ego and soul. Ego is defined as an aspect of the self that seeks balance in its known reality. Unable to see its own reflection, it can only become self-aware when communicating with its above observer or divine essence - the soul. Figuratively higher than or superior to the ego, the soul observes our lives without judgment or analysis. The ego's inability to recognize itself or see what it is doing makes it a seeker. Sensitive to the memories and emotions of its experiences, the ego questions everything a person thinks, feels, or does. Because the divine or soul encompasses all that can be intuitively perceived, it is the organizing intelligence that guides and offers answers to our lives.
The Soul’s Intent is that you arrive. Live in the present. BE who you really are so that something of you that is real can emerge. Desiring to grow exponentially on itself, the soul wants to connect with other souls, to have a reciprocal relationship with them—and then—the planet.
The soul’s intent offers an answer to ‘why’ things happen. To BE so something real can come through and then CAUSE or have an effect on the world around you. The answer to why...is…be-cause! The soul teaches that what you do with your life experiences has always been up to you.
Depth Work assists in defining this purpose.
