Hilary Bilbrey is an author, leadership trainer and, most importantly, mom from Central Wisconsin. After her son was severely burned, Hilary was motivated to found her company Inspired By Family, LLC. The original intent was to help people find the best in themselves and their families, but it has evolved into so much more!
In the last three years Hilary has written and published three books (at left)
The Brecker Bunny books are now a safety series and Brecker's friend Davey will be teaching water safety in 2010. Hilary is currently coauthoring a book for teens on personal branding and leadership.
Before founding Inspired By Family LLC, Hilary was a teacher, holding degrees from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Cambridge University, UK. She has taught children in four different countries, at every age level, with over 30 different nationalities, in gifted, special needs and at-risk programs. These experiences led her to her latest project, Trademark U Inc, a nonprofit teen leadership organization.
Hilary speaks and trains frequently at teen, at-risk, counselor and leadership conferences. She also enjoys her work with safety groups all over the country. She has a special passion for the World Burn Congress, sponsored by the Phoenix Society, which supports burn survivors and her family. She was fortunate to present to other parents of burn survivors at WBC 2009 in New York City.
She currently lives in Central Wisconsin with her husband and best friend, Jeff and her three children, Breck, Jake and Faith. They take advantage of the Northwoods and water as often as they can.
