Great timing! We have as our guest on Wine Clubs Online radio show, best-selling author James Alley Conaway on March 12th, the day of the release of his latest piece of fiction, "Nose."
The book is set in a “gorgeous wine valley in northern California” like the Napa Valley. Its hero is a wine critic with an ego almost as large as his substantial girth. While investigating the origin of a superb cabernet sauvignon that he discovers during a blind tasting, the book’s hero becomes involved in a dangerous series of events that involves scandal, redemption and love.
James Conaway is well-known for his two books about Napa Valley: “Napa: The Story of an American Eden” and “The Far Side of Eden.” He has been a writer for the Times Picayune, Rome Daily American, New York Times, Atlantic Monthly, been Washington Editor for Harper's Magazine, wrote for the Washington Post, and is currently the editor-at-large for Preservation Magazine, and conributes regularly to National Geographic Traveler. James has authored over 3 fiction and over 8 non-fiction books.
James books about the wine country have brought him acclaim and notoriety, as well as some jarring reviews. You will find this interview very interesting. Tune in to www.toginet.com/shows/wineclubsonline, Tuesday, March 12th, 7:00pm PST.
