Fear once ruled my life. I was afraid to love, trust, believe, dream and sometimes just "be."  I used to worry, fret and doubt many things in my life.  I delayed my progress and my success because I was afraid.  Although many who know me would say I was confident, bold and ambitious ~ I too had fears that kept my life and my dreams paralyzed.

Raised in a single-parent, low income home with a resourceful, wise and resilient mother, I learned how to be independent, strong and responsible.  My mother did the best she could with what she had and I am deeply grateful. I was a fatherless child until the age 14 when my step-father entered my life.  I was a single parent of the most wonderful boy in the world.  I was under-valued and taken for granted by men in my life.  I was a lot of things and those experiences created fear of abandonment, fear of love, fear of trust and fear of being alone raising a man-child.  Yet there was always a strong voice inside of me that guided me forward, ordered my steps, and reminded me of how great I was and that there was a special purpose for my life.

Through risks, failure, success, reading, meditating, praying, believing, seeking, coaching, mentoring and divine guidance I found the courage to wake up my SHero and release my inner Geni(us) the all knowing source all things, my intuitive voice, the God in me.  This awakening allowed me to set my standards high, create goals and achieve them, defy obstacles, believe when there was no proof and overcome some of the most difficult moments of my life and rise from the ashes... a champion in my life.  

Through struggles, moments of defeat, doubt, worry, and fear I discovered how wise, strong, brave and fearless I am.  Today I still have fears yet they do not rule my life and I step towards them with confidence and courage knowing with 100% conviction and truth that I AM FEARLESS...I can do, be and have anything I choose!

Through it all the one thing I know for sure, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  I have mastered the Art of Fear-Free Living and share in this book how you too can awaken the Geni(us) within you to live a brave, courageous, fulfilling life.
