This week's we're talking about those sweet-n-sour moments or bittersweet moments in life as well those times when life hands you lemons and you choose to make lemonade. From kids going back to school to changing traditions and holiday celebrations we'll look at what happens and what you can do to ensure your happiness.

Our guest, Janet D. Thomas knows all about those lemons life hands us. She experienced sexual abuse, clinical depression, obesity and more. After she turned her life around she began helping others to do the same. Today she'll share her story and we'll hear about her book ‘Lemons, Lemonade & Life' which shares a systematic way to nourish yourself emotionally so you can develop a healthy mindset and create the life you really want.

Holidays can be filled with bittersweet moments too. Lives change; children grow up, parents get divorced, widows re-marry, babies are born, people move and so much more. All of these things affect our celebrations and they challenge our traditions.

So today we'll take a look at traditions; loving them, changing them and letting them go and grow.

Janet D. Thomas is a captivating speaker, engaging writer and dynamic workshop leader who practices what she preaches. This imparts to her written and spoken words the power to both inspire and motivate, even heal. And because her message is based upon her personal experience, describing her own transformation literally energizes transformation in those who experience her.

Always seeking for answers, over the course of her life Janet has healed the wounds of childhood sexual abuse and overcome a laundry list of challenges ranging from obesity, eviction and bankruptcy to compulsive lying, clinical depression and divorce. To her, making lemonade is no mere philosophical or psychological proposition; it has been a life-saving strategy.
