I'm sharing one of my favorite new finds today. It's something I use every day and it's had the unexpected side benefit of creating family conversation, especially talks between my teen daughter and myself. Then we'll share some ideas for moms having fun - you and your mom. We hear a lot about mother-daughter dates but those usually address you and your kids. Today I'll share eight ways for grown-up moms can have fun together.

Jean Haner is joining us to talk about faces and what we can learn from them. Jean says you were born with a particular nature and a plan and that it's printed on your face. She'll chat with us about the wisdom in our faces and what you can learn about yourself and your children simply by looking.

And in Christmas Corner there's more travel talk. Last week I shared packing tips and I have one more to add to the list. Then I'm adding in something for the non-traveler. There are a lot of reasons people don't travel and likely you have good reasons for not doing so. But just in case, I'm sharing 5 lies people tell about travel.

Join us at noon ET (11am CT, 10am MT, 9am PT) on

Jean Haner, the author of The Wisdom of Your Face, The Wisdom of Your Child's Face, and Your Hidden Symmetry, teaches compassionate and affirming ways for people to understand their true nature and to feel love for everyone in their lives, including that reflection in the mirror.

Jean married into a Chinese family when she was in her 20s, and began to learn about Chinese culture, philosophy and medicine from her very traditional mother-in-law. It wasn't until after her wedding that she discovered the family had her face and birthdate evaluated to see if she was a "lucky" match for her husband, and that even the date and time of the ceremony had been determined according to what would bring the most luck for the family.

She went on to study the deeper foundations of these ancient principles of balance and health with many teachers over the years, and learned that it has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with learning to be true to your nature.

Jean is well known for providing fascinating and practical information that can be put to immediate use in your life.
