Liz Bentley of Liz Bentley Coaching Teaches Us About Getting Above The Water Line

Liz Bentley is a Professional Coach who works with clients to help them realize and achieve their work and life goals. She coaches for change and success by having her clients visualize their life in the big picture and apply that vision to small steps they can take today.

 

Liz coaches executives and entrepreneurs within organizations and corporations of all sizes and in all different industries. She has worked with bankers, traders, lawyers, sales people, marketers, consultants, advertisers, fashion designers, engineers and human resources professionals.

Liz also helps companies with their organizational development. She runs team skill building workshops, team assessments, leadership development, 360º feedback review, corporate workshops and trainings, and keynote speaking. The companies she has worked with include PricewaterhouseCoopers, Wells Fargo, UBS, Advanced Acoustic Concepts, KORG-World Leader of Musical Instruments, GKN Aerospace, D’Addario, 2 Hats Network, Farmingdale State College, Corporate Performance Consults, and Peerless Instruments.

Liz received her coach training from the New York University Certificate in Organizational and Executive Coaching program, and the David Rock Results Coaching System. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia.

Prior to coaching, Liz worked in advertising sales in publishing and television. She held the position of Ad Director at Conde Nast Publications, a leading worldwide magazine publishing company, where she headed the sales department of Wired Magazine. At Wired, she managed offices all over the United States, Europe and Asia and was responsible for sales and marketing results. Before being promoted to Ad Director, Liz was top sales person for 4 years running, and managed Sales Development and Special Advertising Sections. Prior to Wired, Liz was at CBS Network as an Account Service Representative in advertising sales where she assisted in selling all day parts: Prime Time, News, Late Night, and Day Time.

Liz has been a competitive athlete her whole life. She played Division I Soccer and Lacrosse at the University of Virginia. She taught skiing at Aspen Highlands in Aspen Colorado, has run the NYC Marathon twice, and currently plays competitive platform tennis, tennis and ice hockey. Liz lives with her husband and 3 children in Cold Spring Harbor, New York.
