Sharyn Sowell creates magic with a pair of scissors. She is an artist whose work is a blend of calligraphy, watercolor, letterpress printing, and cut paper, all done meticulously by hand. I'm so pleased to have her on the show to talk about her process because now Her designs are now found on Fabric with Clothworks, we are so lucky!
I am really going to learn a lot today! Konda Luckau has fantastic tips for working with precut hexagons by machine, and I love her idea! She creates warm and friendly quilts that are the kind of designs you can make over and over again, including a book of 'big block' quilts which is pretty fun! Plus she has very practical advice for making better quilts.
Lisa Ellis is the Director of the non-profit organization Sacred Threads. She is also a quilter that puts a lot of meaning into her pieces and loves to inspire quilters to get involved in using their love of quilting to improve health care centers. We'll learn about the type of quilts shared at Sacred Threads and how you can get involved with that and other ways you can share your love of quilting to a larger audience.

Erin Cox is the author of the super popular book Sweet Treats, little quilts that are so adorable and maybe a little bit addictive to make! Erin writes at Why Not Sew. Today we'll talk about her freemotion applique style, and some hand piecing basics!
