As a research professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, he held many grants as Principal Investigator from multiple branches of the National Institutes of Health, and published extensively in top-tiered scientific journals. Rende offers a trusted, authoritative voice on parenting and child development via popular writings, lectures, books, and service as a consultant to the public and private sector. He is the co-author of Raising Can-Do Kids: Giving Children the Tools to Thrive in a Fast-Changing World, and author of Psychosocial Interventions for Genetically-Influenced Problems in Children and Adolescents.
