Dear good Father, You sent Your son to bring peace into our hearts. Christmas reminds us that Your Son, Jesus, is God with us. You seek us out for companionship. Your Son shows us how peace, sacrifice, true power, and eternal hope can look. We praise You! With the angels, we sing, “Glory Hallelujah!” Help us now to love our families even when they’re getting on our last nerve. Give us joy and laughter and sense of Your presence as we celebrate. Comfort our hearts as we miss those who are not here with us. Help us restore our own hearts and renew relationships that need mending while there is still time. Give us grace to share with others. Bless us now because that is Your heart’s desire. In Your Son’s name we pray. Amen.
