Military Mom Talk radio is pleased to feature this little cookbook with a very big heart.
GoArmyHomes, your military family PCS Relocation Resource, has published an easy-to-carry travel cookbook with recipes that reflect the warmth and love that Army families have for their fighting men and women. The recipes comprised in this book were carefully selected and tested from over 1000 respondents and represent many of our Army moms' and wives' favorite breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert meals.
A portion of the proceeds from every cookbook purchased is donated to OPERATION GRATITUDE which annually sends 150,000+ care packages filled with food, hygiene products, entertainment and handmade items, plus personal letters of support, addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas, to their children left behind, and to veterans, new recruits, first responders, wounded warriors and their care givers.
This is much more than a cookbook. It is a keepsake and a reminder that there are real men and women who put their lives on the line for all of us every day. And we invite you to honor their courage and sacrifice and enjoy the special meals that warm their hearts and fill their stomachs when they come home from serving overseas.
Sharing the journey from draft to bookshelf is Michael Russer, CEO of RUSSER Communications and Managing Director for GoArmyHomes, LLC. Michael is an international speaker, author and columnist.
