The word “expert” is an intimidating one. You probably view the experts that populate the Internet, TV networks, and newspapers as highly-trained, inaccessible gurus-- industry leaders whose experience is light years away from your own. That is after all, what makes them experts. Or is it?

In his book The Millionaire Messenger  which teaches people how to profitably become an expert, author Brendon Burchard says that contrary to popular belief people are already experts. At the age of 19, Burchard suffered a near-death car crash that brought him face to face with his own mortality. Bloodied, bruised, and barely breathing, Burchard had an epiphany that would mold the rest of his life.
