Putting the Sparkle Back into Our Lives
Losing a child is tragic ... a heart wrenching experience that can take hold of parents lives and drop them into the deepest depression and despair.
On this week’s show, I have with me a beautiful lady, Tova Gold, who knows only too well the grief associated with losing children. Not only has Tova a truly inspiring story to share, but is also going to help us understand a little more about ‘Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome’. Over time, Tova discovered ways to overcome the depression that accompanied the incredible loss she suffered. She now inspires thousands globally through what she calls ‘Finding My Muchness’! This is all about sharing with others how to find their way through the challenges of life and move forward in the most delightful and extraordinary ways! I am just so excited to be chatting with Tova.
My Guest Tova Gold is a New York based artist and product designer. Her life's purpose was revealed to her after her second pregnancy ended at 23.5 weeks with the loss of her identical twin girls, forever nicknamed Sunshine & Daisy, due to Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome. Her grief led her to a world filled with gray and darkness where she thought she'd be trapped forever. Ultimately she made the choice not to drown in her grief and rather, to live a life of joy and purpose, in memory of her twins. This decision led her to start wearing sparkly, colorful clothing as a tool to break the gray and darkness that surrounded her. Though it seemed almost silly at the time, she found that infusing her world with light and color on the outside helped her connect with her light and color on the inside. After hearing the quote “I used to be much muchier, but then I lost my Muchness” Tova embarked on a self-imposed 30 Day Muchness Challenge, wearing sparkle and sharing her MuchnessMoments on Facebook. It’s launched The Muchness Movement, at FindingMyMuchness.com & it’s grown to become her life’s work- To share the knowledge that there is beauty, light and healing in paying attention to and celebrating our little MuchnessMoments.
