Born in a small town outside of Buffalo, New York, Sandra went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Advertising from Northwestern University. Linda Franklin, is the creator of www.therealcougarwoman.com and www.shiningserviceworldwide.com. She was the first Canadian woman to own a seat on The New York Stock Exchange and then managed her firm's all-male trading department. Now her focus is working with women showing them how to unleash their powerful feminine energy.
Linda is a woman who works at making choices, not out of guilt or obligation, but from a place of knowing what is best for her. She is always growing and change does not scare her. Linda understands how important it is to appreciate all the small things that too often we take for granted. In her book "Don't Ever Call Me Ma'am" , she gives fabulous tips on beauty, health, sex, relationships and attaining financial responsibility.
Shining Service WorldwideTM is Linda's charitable effort that supports women in the military community. The goal of this organization is the successful re-integration of women back into civilian life. Her inspirational military makeovers are featured in first class salons and spas all over the country. She currently is working on Shining Beacon House which will serve as transitional housing for military moms and their children.
Linda was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to New York City when she was 19. She lives there with her husband and her Havanese puppy Lucy.
