Joining me on The Sociable Homeschooler today are a couple of writers who live in Austin, Texas.  Betsy and George Christian have written two Texas History books that are as lively and irreverent as the characters found on their pages.  You’ll find men and women you’d like to meet and some you’ll be rather glad you didn’t!  If you think teaching History is dry these books are for you.  Betsy is a writer, public affairs consultant, and community volunteer. George, a fifth-generation Texan, practices law and teaches literature at The University of Texas at Austin.
