Dr. Lynn Hellerstein of Vision Beyond Sight speaks with Edina Harmon, honor roll student, active athlete, baker, and Dr. Lynn’s delightful granddaughter. Dr. Lynn and Edina talk about how to use visualization in your life—even as an 11-year old, middle-school 6th grader!

Here’s a little bit about Edina—a very impressive and adventurous life! Edina is a 6th grader who is always on the honor roll. She loves to dance, create art, and play games (especially Scrooge). She’s an active athlete: skiing, soccer, volleyball. One of her gifts is baking. Edina is responsible, funny, brilliant, and an explorer. (But Dr. Lynn is her grandmother so there’s some bias here!)

“When I was 7 or 8, I had to get my teeth pulled... I was really nervous because any kid my age would be nervous getting teeth pulled out. What my grandma helped me do is to visualize this land called Frappuccino Land… And when I got my teeth pulled, I basically visualized that I was in that land. It honestly helped me get through it and I didn’t even feel a thing.” — Edina Harmon
