About Dr. Megan Locke:

Dr. Megan Locke joined the Able Kids Foundation in 2008 passionate about central auditory processing disorders and providing solutions for those who experience auditory challenges. Prior to joining our team, she worked in Washington, D.C. as a Clinical Neurophysiologist performing intraoperative monitoring during vascular, neurological, and orthopedic surgeries and served as the region’s trainer for new employees. Before working in Washington, D.C., Dr. Locke was a Clinical Audiologist and Manager in New Jersey at a sound therapy center. A Certified Tomatis Consultant and Auditory Integration Therapy (AIT) provider, she worked with children and adults with hearing and processing difficulties and was involved in community education.

Dr. Locke has 22 years of experience working with children and adults with special needs in classroom and clinical settings. A native of Canton, Ohio, she earned a Doctor of Audiology degree from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences from Ohio University. She is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the state of Colorado.
