Today's theme began by focusing on others that are serving in a capacity that prevents them from being with their loved ones during Christmas. We normally think about our men and women serving in the military, especially those that are serving overseas in dangerous areas.

But that is the tip of the iceberg. Further mention was made to remind us all of those that serve in a support capacity; police officers, fire fighters, doctors, nurses and the list goes on. Even employees of the power company are in high demand during the holidays whenever we experience power outages, especially during winter and freezing temperatures.
