John Clarson joined Bill Heinrich and Jim Grant today and his topic was "Get Full VALUE From YOUR Training".

John shared how often many times we don't get much value from the training we take.

He explained The Forgetting Curve developed by Ebbinghaus shows that from the time you complete your training to the time you go to work, you've already lost 50 - 66% of the information you learned.

If you do not set an intention prior to taking your training, you will have lost even more.

And unless you immediately begin to apply the information you've retained, you will also pretty much loose those results quickly too.

So how can we get better results from the training we invest in? Setting intentions beforehand and having an execution plan will greatly improve your results.

John shared the importance of staying in touch with clients and keeping employees motivated and productive.
