Marta Willams --The Women who Speaks To Animals

For those of you who believe animal communication sits right there in the middle of woo woo, let me tell you that Marta has her roots in science. She has a Masters degree in biology and worked for many years as an environmental scientist. She has written extensively for animal-related journals, and has published four popular books on animal communication: Learning Their Language, Ask Your Animal, Beyond Words, and My Animal My Self. Marta regularly travels throughout the US and internationally to teach people how to communicate intuitively with animals and nature. A Dangerous Idea- Eugenics, Genetics and the American Dream

The Declaration of Independence protects your opportunity to improve your life, no matter who you are. It boldly proclaims: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." The American Founding Fathers introduced the revolutionary idea that each person's desire to pursue their idea of happiness was not self-indulgence, but a necessary driver of a prosperous society. They created a government to defend that right for everyone. The pursuit of happiness became the driver of the entrepreneurial spirit that defines the American free market economy. However, did Thomas Jefferson the architect of this quote mean that ONLY WHITE men were created equal? Both the rich and the poor? Or was it meant to extend to all races,? The idea that the poor are genetically different from the rich or that men are naturally more intelligent than women may seem laughable but it’s an argument regularly used as a social weapon to stall the advancement of equality and maintain the status quo. Since the discovery of DNA, the idea that genes are somehow responsible for everything has permeated society. Claims about discoveries of genes for intelligence, poverty and crime offer pseudoscientific explanations for rising rates of inequality and discrimination.  In her film, A Dangerous Idea, Stephanie Welch does a great job in showing  the science underpinning these beliefs has been thoroughly debunked. However, what was done in the name of Eugenics, an attempt to weed out the undesirables, the feeble minded, the native Americans, blacks, those who were born with disabilities, by sterilizing children and adults alike. Stephanie Welch is the Director, Producer and Co-writer of the film 'A Dangerous Idea'. She is also executive director of Paragon Media, a nonprofit media organization that co-produced A DANGEROUS IDEA. Stephanie is the senior producer of the award-winning syndicated program Bioneers Radio: Revolution from the Heart of Nature. Welch co-produced the radio documentary Biowars: First Do No Harm, which won a NFCB Silver Reel Award. Stephanie is also audio engineer for Women Rising Radio.

LOOK AT Their Abilities, and DIS the DIS!

Lynda Todd was nominated to be the 2018 Chair for  National Accessibility Week in Peterborough, Ontario, beginning May 27th thru June 2nd. Why? Because while she is legally blind, she is a prolific volunteer and Champion for those with Disabilites. Lynda Todd and Co Chair/Co Coordinator, Alec Denys, Lynda and Alec created a program they call Active Together Adventures. This program is designed to bring those living with disability a reason to get out of their house and try something new, even if that something is curling, sledge hockey, archery, or waterskiing.  They just added billiards and golf is next on the agenda. Curling Coordinator Jon Thurston claims, that athletics is something that has helped him tremendously while learning to live as a paraplegic after a work place accident left him permanently in a wheelchair. Today, Jon is waterskiing and looking forward to bungie jumping. . Alec Denys has travelled the World and won many world championship archery awards, in fact he just set a new Ontario record in archery! Alec's wish for the Disabled is that people STOP looking at the disabled part and START looking at their abilities. The ONLY limits they have are the ones OTHERS put on them. Lynda Todd is an adrenaline junkie. She loves to ride Tandem bikes, pistol shoot, ride horses, throw an axe and only recently, learned to walk with a cane by the CNIB. Their program Council for Persons with Disabilities is a non-profit charitable organization which does receive some funding from the government but their TIMS program, TIME In MY SHOES, does not. This is a program where Lynda and friends will go into a school and bring 'props' so that young people can see what it is like to live with what she calls, "inconveniences". .

Best Actor goes to Gary Oldman for Churchill, and Best Actress will be Frances McDormand.for 3 Billboards, but Sally Hawkins might take it for The Shape of Water. Best supporting actress should go to Alison Janney for I TONYA and Best supporting actor goes to Sam Rockwell for 3 Billboards. Best Director will go to Guillermo del Toro, for The Shape of Water. Pollinating the Planet With Love

Kathryn Guylay and Beth Bell may not know one another even though they both belong to one of the most giving heart centered influential groups around, The Evolutionary Business Council, but  aside from that connection, they  DO have several things in common- They are both entrepreneurs, they both are deeply involved in giving back to their communities and the world at large.  Both ladies are entreprenuers, both radio hosts and both authors and here is where the split begins. Danny Brooks-The Man who Eats Miracles for Breakfast- The Journey Continues

Host Frankie Picasso had an amazing conversation with guest Danny Brooks, Texasippi Soul Man, Blues Artist, singer, songwriter and author about his latest book, Miracles For Breakfast- The Journey Continues. The book starts off with Danny having a heart attack as he was finishing his show on the stage of Austin Texas’, famed Threadgills, May 2nd 2010. He managed to finish the show, load up He would go on to work 5 more weeks in extreme Texas heat that was a record drought and heat wave. 100 days of 100+ degree heat. Getting back to Canada, Danny discovered he had 5 completely blocked main arteries in his heart. Recently Danny was inducted for a 2nd time into the Blues Hall of Fame in Clarksdale MS for "Great Blues Artist from Texas"! This is the second book in a 7 part series that runs the gamut from musician, drugs, alcohol addiction, heart attack, prison and much more.

At the Movies with Brent Marchant

In this special MOVIE REVIEW full episode of FrankieSense & More, The Good Media Movie Correspondent and Critic Brent Marchant reviewed some of the top movies out today. The next movie was Star Wars.. The Last Jedi- which Brent thought was the best of the entire series. This movie starred Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill |Luke Skywalker's peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever. The Disaster Artist is a movie about a movie.. The true story stars James Franco, Dave Franco, Ari Graynor , Alison Brie. James Franco plays Tommy Wiseau a man of mystery. When Greg Sestero, an aspiring film actor, meets the weird and mysterious Tommy Wiseau in an acting class, they form a unique friendship and travel to Hollywood to make their dreams come true. Followed up by I TONYA..which Brent stated was his favorite of all the movies, stars Margot Robbie, Sebastian Stan, Allison Janney. Competitive ice skater Tonya Harding rises amongst the ranks at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, but her future in the activity is thrown into doubt when her ex-husband intervenes. The POST is up next.. a little slow for my liking but stars Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Bob Odenkirk. A cover-up that spanned four U.S. Presidents pushed the country's first female newspaper publisher and a hard-driving editor to join an unprecedented battle between the press and the government. Next is Mollys Game a must see starring Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba and Kevin Costnor.  The true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran the world's most exclusive high-stakes poker game and became an FBI target Lastly.. This animal activist is the Founder, Director and Vice President of Lions Tigers & Bears, a Sanctuary that is now a safe refuge and home to a variety of rescued exotic animals, mostly Big CATS and Bears as the name implies, but also included amongs the lions, tigers, black bears, bobcats, a mountain lion, leopard, Himalayan black bears, grizzly bears are llamas, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, a miniature horse, miniature donkey, peacocks, and a macaw! They all live on the 90 acre retreat just outside of Alpine, California on the edge of the Cleveland National Forest in San Diego County. Bobbi has been working with and advocating for captive big cats, bears and other exotic animals since the early 1990s after witnessing the abuses and neglect inflicted on captive exotics victimized by the exotic animal trade. Bobbi made a decision that something must be done, and since then she has made it her personal mission to work to end the abuses that stem from this heinous industry, one animal at a time. Gordon Shell, a former MMA fighter, literally put his life on the line to put a STOP to dog fighting and help- save these dogs. His last fight earned him 15,000 that went towards saving animals. Gordon recently spent 5 days in jail, received a $1000 dollar fine and ended up with 23,000 in legal bills for saving a dog by taking it away from it’s home. Stefano is head trainer and founder of K9 intution. He graduated from the Animal Behaviour College and worked with Ceasar Milan, along with his head trainer Jennifer Gray at Ceasar's Dog Psycology Centre..while rehabilitating his own dog, Stefano fell in love with the process. Today he heals  dogs most trainers refuse to work with. Dogs who are animal reactive, human aggressive, unbalanced and fearful. He helps rescues re-home these dogs and helps them to live love filled lives.
