I found the work of Kelsey Boes recently and I love it! Her website is LovelyandEnough where she writes about quiltmaking, printing fabric, has tutorials and gorgeous photography. I'm excited to learn more about her today!
I love the colorful and unique work of Sue Bleiweiss. Her applique is fun and freeing and she also love to dye her own fabric. With her new bopok Colorful Fabric Collage, she is going to explain how to sketch, fuse and quilt!
I was talking with Roseann Kermes of Rosebud's cottage about charity projects and she mentioned that there was an interesting group making charity quilts at the Target corporate offices in Minneapolis. I was thrilled to meet Juel Bagaason while in Minneapolis and she is joining me to tell me about the project she and her fellow quilters at Target are involved with.
I can't remember how long I've followed the blog of Siobhan Rogers from Australia. I love her photography, her writing and her quilts! She has a new book and came to the trade show for it and lucky me, we got to finally meet! I recorded our chat and you are going to love her. (you pronounce her name Shi-von... it's Irish)
