KOBO for readers and authors

Lit Up! with Angela Breidenbach welcomes guest, Mark Leslie Lefevre, Director of Author Relations at Kobo and KoboWritingLife.com who also writes fun historical ghost legends under the pen name, Mark Leslie (it's easier to spell).

Mark is a writer, editor, and bookseller who was born and grew up in the Greater Sudbury Region, spent many years in Ottawa and currently lives in Hamilton, Ontario.

Topics today include ghost walks, local lore stories of haunted libraries and bookstores from books by Mark Leslie like Tomes of Terror, Spooky Sudbury: True Tales of the Erie and Unexplained, and Haunted Hamilton.

Then we explore Kobo for readers and authors. Kobo's philosophy is: "It should be the content of a book that keeps you up, not the technology."

How Kobo works, how to find and shop locally for ebooks in over 350 US book stores (indiebound.org and click "Find Indies Selling Ebooks", Learn about Kobo's new waterproof reader, and how Overdrive works with libraries.
