As I travel the country I’m always on the lookout for Barn quilts. When I saw Kristi Coupe’s barn quilts at Put a Quilt on it, I knew I had to have one! Sherri Noel of RebeccaMae Designs creates colorful quilts. She is known for her block of the month quilts and I love her style. She is going to give us tips on how she pulls fabric for her signature Scrap quilts and I’m interested in her process for hand quilting with pearl cotton.

Audrey Wright has been in the quilting industry for years, starting with a shop, and working for fabric companies and in the last several years has been a pattern and fabric designer with her website Legacy Pattern. Audrey is the designer of the ‘Potato Bag’ pattern that so many of you love! I’m excited total about quilting, how it’s evolved, and to learn about the stories behind hercts.ojects.
When I saw an article about Andrea Tsang Jackson’s artist residency at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, I was intrigued. I loved learning more about her quilt making as I watched her posts about this incredible experience she had of working in the museum and meeting all kinds of people to hear their stories. I was delighted she is here today to chat with me!
