In 2006, Justin began a 16-month journey in the production of his first feature length documentary, American Meth. The Val Kilmer-narrated film won multiple film festivals around the country. The movie was released on DVD in early 2008 by Rivercoast Film Distribution, and was one of America's most rented documentaries that year and has been viewed in more thab 50 million homes.

Justin recently completed ABSENT, a documentary that takes a raw, gut wrenching look at the vanishing landscape of fatherhood, and the searing scars an absent father can leave behind. This film also features Metallica's frontman, James Hetfield, author, John Eldridge and legendary boxer, Johnny Tapia.
