Reading books is one of my (Patty) favorite pastimes. Reading people is also on my top 10 list, and I have found that you can learn tremendous things about an individual just by discovering what they like to read. When I go to someone's office or to their house, I often find myself sneaking a peek at their bookshelves.

The Mark of the Lion book series, by Francine Rivers, is one of the best book series I have ever read. If you have known me longer than a month, you probably know of my love for these books; I am a not-so-secret admirer of Francine Rivers (the idea of interviewing her makes me salivate, so if anyone out there has a connection, feel free to make that happen!!)

As leaders, we are all a product of what we read or don't read, who we hang out with, what ministry we feel called to, and what programs we watch.
