Stephen G. Post, Ph.D. is a public speaker on topics including the health benefits of helping others, the spirit of philanthropy, and compassion in healthcare. He is a best-selling author who has taught at the University of Chicago Medical School, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (1988-2008), and Stony Brook University School of Medicine (2008-), where he is Founding Director of the Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics (designated as a special strength of the Stony Brook School of Medicine by the LCME visiting committee 2011). He is an elected member of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, the New York Academy of Medicine, and the Royal Society of Medicine, London.

Dana Klisanin, Ph.D., an award-winning psychologist who explores the impact of media and digital technologies on the mythic and moral dimensions of humanity, focusing on its potential to advance altruism, compassion, and heroism. Author of numerous journal articles, she is currently contributing to a new series of books on psychology and popular culture, that include The Walking Dead Psychology: Psych of the Living Dead and Star Wars Psychology: Dark Side of the Mind. Founder of Evolutionary Guidance Media R&D, Inc., and Director of the MindLab at c3: Center for Conscious Creativity, Dr. Klisanin oversees the design of new frameworks for media and communications based on integral theories and systems science. She is currently developing an interactive gaming adventure with real world consequences, Cyberhero League. The project is garnering awards pre-release. Executive Board member of the World Futures Studies Federation, Dr. Klisanin is the President’s envoy to the United Nations and serves on the “Media Watch” Video Game Committee for the American Psychological Association’s Division of Media Psychology and Chairs the “Positive Media” Special Interest Group.
