Madge Thomas is the Global Policy and Advocacy (GPA) manager for Global Citizen. A qualified lawyer with experience in human rights, international affairs and development, Madge has been a representative at the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York on behalf of the NGO sector. She has advised UN agencies, Governments and NGOs on UN instruments including the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People,Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UN Declaration on the Rights of the Child and the Convention Against Torture. Sanah Jivani is an honors college student double majoring in sociology and communications at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is the founder of The Love Your Natural Self Foundation, a non-profit striving to empower others. Sanah started this organization after losing all of her hair to Alopecia in the seventh grade and struggling with wigs, bullying and low self-worth.
