Dr. Danny Penman is a feature writer for the UK's Daily Mail, having formerly worked for the BBC, New Scientist and the Independent newspaper. He holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and specializes in reporting on science, health, the environment, and animal welfare. A keen meditator since his teenage years, he discovered Mindfulness Meditation in 2006 following a terrible paragliding accident that left him temporarily crippled and in constant pain. More here.
Jeffrey M Greeson PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist and a faculty member in the Dept. of Psychology at Rowan University. As an Adjunct faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and at Duke University Medical Center, he maintains active research collaborations. As a clinician, Jeffrey specializes in integrating mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients treat and prevent stress-related health problems. His research focuses on understanding how mindfulness training impacts biological and behavioral factors implicated in mental and physical health. More here.
