Sharon Bergquist, MD, FACP is a board-certified internal medicine doctor, researcher, teacher, and speaker specializing in preventive medicine and healthy aging. She is a Rollins Distinguished Clinician on the faculty of Emory School of Medicine and the medical director of Emory’s Executive Health center, a state-of-the-art evidence-based lifestyle prevention program. Dr. Bergquist is on the team leading Emory’s Healthy Aging Study, the largest clinical study ever done in Atlanta with the aim of finding early biomarkers of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease.
