Dr. Michael E. Mann is Distinguished Professor of Atmospheric Science at Penn State, with joint appointments in the Department of Geosciences and the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute (EESI). He is also director of the Penn State Earth System Science Center (ESSC). Dr. Mann received his undergraduate degrees in Physics and Applied Math from the University of California at Berkeley, an M.S. degree in Physics from Yale University, and a Ph.D. in Geology & Geophysics from Yale University. His research involves the use of theoretical models and observational data to better understand Earth's climate system. More here.
Rebecca Otto is the 18th State Auditor of Minnesota and a past president of the National State Auditors Association. She lives in a clean energy home that she and her husband designed and built with their own hands 23 years ago, to not contribute to global warming for the sake of their infant son. Now, Rebecca is running for Governor of Minnesota, and has released the most aggressive clean energy plan in America, which has been endorsed by climate scientists, climate activist Bill McKibben, and even a prominent Republican as a model all states could follow.More here.
