Dr Erika Ebble Angle is the CEO and co-founder of Ixcela, a Biotechnology start-up company aimed at developing tests and personalized dietary and lifestyle interventions to improve gut microbiome efficacy and health. She holds a PhD in biochemistry from Boston University School of Medicine. She is a member of the MIT visiting committee for the Dean of Undergraduate Education and part of the advisory council for the Dean for the School of Engineering at MIT. More here.
Dr. Emeran Mayer received is MD/PhD degree from the Ludwig Maximillian University in Munich, Germany, did his residency at the Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, and his GI fellowship training at the UCLA/VA Wadsworth Training Program. Dr. Mayer has a career long interest in clinical and research aspects of brain body interactions, with a longstanding focus on brain gut interactions in health and disease. More here.
