Tara Allmen, MD, is one of America’s leading experts in midlife women’s health. She is a Board Certified Gynecologist and Nationally Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). Dr. Allmen has educated thousands of medical professionals around the country in perimenopausal and menopausal medicine. A graduate of New York's prestigious Stuyvesant High School, Dr. Allmen earned her bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Emily Schryer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Development at California State University Long Beach. She received a Ph.D. in social psychology at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Schryer’s expertise is in the area of adult development and aging. Her research explores psychological, social and cultural processes involved in maintaining happiness and well-being across the adult life course.
