Spiritual Abuse is when religious leaders use their position of authority to Lord over those they are called to serve, spiritually care for and feed. Instead of the leader serving the people, the people serve the leader and help build him or hers ego, kingdom and platform up.

The abusive leaders often use control, manipulation, intimidation, shaming, threats and other wicked means to establish their positions and maintain their pedestals.

If you've been victimized by an abusive leader, you can and should break free of their grip.  You must recognize them for who they are and become who God called you to be!
