This Is A Day The Lord Has Made 11-8-16

This is a day the Lord has made.  Let us rejoice and be glad in this day.

In the US many will be voting for the next President of the United States.  In other parts of the world others are wrestling with other important,  life changing issues. I want to remind all that God is in control, he is the one who establishes kingdoms and tears them down.  Wether a kingdom is righteous or evil it's existence is permitted by God.

The beleivers life is not governed by these changes although it may be effected by these things. We are the salt of the earth,  however if the salt loses it's savour it is good for nothing. Many beleivers have conformed to the ways of the world and have lost the zest needed to effect real change in their communities.  I believe that is what has happened regarding today's election. 911 was a wake-up call and an opportunity for Americans to truly repent and turn their hearts to God. They did not. George Bush last term was a Grace period for the US and another opportunity for Americans to make changes. Ben Carsons campaign for the Presidency was also an opportunity for Americans to chose a more righteous path for America but Americans chose Barrabas and rejected the opportunity to really address Americas issues.

That being said Americans overwhelmingly supported candidates that truly reflect their heart positions and character. Trump and Clinton are merely reflections of most Americans.  Like the children of Israel wanted a King, Americans wanted "change" under Obama and now they are left with the result of that change. Today's vote was decided in 2008.

Now Americans will truly need to humble themselves, pray, seek God's face, turn from wickedness so God can restore America to her rightful place of Greatness.
