Peter R. Breggin MD has been called “The Conscience of Psychiatry” for his many decades of successful efforts to reform the mental health field. In these new roles, he draws on many decades of experience as a medical expert in hundreds of legal actions, including landmark cases, on behalf of patient rights in criminal, malpractice, and product liability lawsuits, as well as injunctions to stop abusive medical and psychiatric practices.
