Richardson of the Brain Performance Center and host of In Your Head Podcast speaks with William Toti, retired submariner, military speaker and consultant, and author, to talk about his unique perspective of serving both as a military CO and a corporate CEO, in order to help veterans understand how industry is different from active duty through his book From CO to CEO. He provides insight on personal and family dynamics for returning veterans, and the military skills and situations that may or may not transfer well in industry jobs. William hopes to provide a practical and empathetic guide to veterans who are transitioning from active duty military service to industry jobs in avoiding the pitfalls that result in more than 50% of those veterans leaving their first jobs within two years.

An Annapolis graduate, he served for more than 26 years on active duty culminating as commodore of Submarine Squadron 3, then fifteen years as a corporate executive culminating as CEO.
