Sensual Essence and Feminine Soul
For many people, the female experience can be a distinct type of trauma that’s manifested through ageism, sexism, and the objectification of women. My guest, Lara Eisenberg-Hendlish, helps us navigate through these traumas that are ingrained in our culture, and are often passed on to us by our families. This journey provides us with tools needed to find our voice, and embrace our sensuality and femininity.
Lara Eisenberg-Hendlish is a body-mind psychotherapist, yoga therapist, somatic experiencing practitioner and women’s embodiment and erotic empowerment coach. She specializes in stress management, addiction, anxiety, developmental trauma, embodiment, sexual health and awakening the feminine.
Lara is the founder and owner of Body Mind Wellness, a counseling practice offering somatic-based coaching and mind-body psychotherapy. A strong advocate for females and fully devoted to anything spiritual, Lara is passionate about restoring the mind-body-spirit-sex connection. She believes that when women explore the emotional, psychological, spiritual and sexual aspects of their lives, access their authentic voice and restore sisterhood around them, they will find their lives filled with pleasure, power and purpose.
Lara has trained teachers and mental health professionals in trauma resolution and stress management and has taught wellness programs for the San Diego County Office of Education and wellness centers such as the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, California.
She created the Relaxation, Peace and Restoration CD and authored the e-book, Trauma Resolution for the Empowered, Awakened Female as well as several articles for publications including the Huffington Post and Psychology Today. She has been interviewed by Spirit Baby Radio, Feng Shui expert Amanda Collins, Worthy, Broadcast Your Authority and others.
In her spare time, Lara is a passionate dancer, using it as a beautiful form of feminine expression. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and young daughter.
