Join Joyce on SecondWind today as she talks with Dr. Rich Blonna. Dr. Rich has devoted the past 25 years to helping individuals create and manage stress. He is a noted writer and trainer in the area of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an approach that helps people become more psychologically-flexible and stress resistant. He is also certified in Naikan and Morita which are two forms of Japanese psychology that emphasize mindfulness and acceptance training respectively.

 

            Today Joyce and Dr. Rich will discuss several topics, such as- the different types of stress, and how our bodies are affected by them.  As well as how living your life not in alignment with your Core Values can cause an increase of stress in your life.
