Matt Picheny was this week's guest on Success Profiles Radio. He is the author of the bestselling book, Backstage Guide To Real Estate: Produce Passive Income, Write Your Own Story, and Direct Your Dollars Towards Positive Change. He went from earning less than $8000 a year to generating over a half billion dollars in real estate transactions. He and his wife have won two Tony awards for being producers of the Broadway shows, Moulin Rouge and American Utopia.
We discussed how to gain access to real estate deals that are not available to the general public, real estate syndication, tax advantages that real estate offers, the difference between a great real estate deal and a bad one, and how to stop trading time for dollars.
We also talked about what factors to consider when joining a syndication deal, adding value through property improvements, and the biggest mistake he made in real estate and how he overcame it.
