Success Profiles Radio 10/11/25 show

Ryan Hogan was the guest on this episode of Success Profiles Radio. He is a Navy veteran turned serial entrepreneur who built Hunt A Killer to a $55 million company before selling it. He is now the co-founder of Talent Harbor, a company that helps companies recruit top of the line sales professionals. They offer recruiting services on a flat monthly fee basis, not based on commission so that they are incentivized to find the best candidates, not the ones that are easiest to find.

We discussed how he grew Hunt A Killer to $55 million using a subscription-based business model and how to prepare a business to be sold.

In addition, we talked about why recruiting is broken, the #1 mistake founders in business make over and over again, where to find the best job candidates, how to keep great talent, his vetting process to get to get the best possible fit, and the biggest red flags he sees in candidates that disqualify them.

Finally, we discussed why a recurring monthly business model works better in the recruiting industry than the model that worked years ago, which role he hired first in his company, and who his ideal client company is.
