Girlfriendit: Calling All Bad Girls with Liz Curtis Higgs

Two weeks ago, I (Patty) had the incredible opportunity to go to NYC with Craig Gross, pastor and founder of XXXChurch, and Brittni Ruiz, a former porn star who recently became a Christ follower. Because of her crazy story, The View wanted to interview her.  When asked by one of the hosts why she started in the pornography industry at age 18, Brittni explained that she was searching for acceptance and love.

We are all longing to be loved, whether you would describe yourself as a "Bad Girl" or a "Good Girl". According to Dr. Brene Brown (a shame researcher whose TED Talks went viral), all people have three Irreducible Needs.

1. To be seen and loved.
    2. To belong.
    3. To be brave.

Years and years of research and there you have it.  So what do you do with this information?

How do you....
Boldly get into the arena and start showing others that they are loved?
Remember to call people by their names, so they feel like they belong?
Encourage, empower, and inspire others so they can be brave?

Listen in as we dive into "how to . . . and how not to" with Liz Curtis Higgs as she enlightens us in fun, challenging, and life-changing ways.  Liz is the author of 30 books, with more than 4.5 million copies in print. In her best-selling Bad Girls of the Bible series, Liz breathes new life into the most infamous-and intriguing-women in history.

We also are excited to hear from our special guest, Bloom leader and church planter from Life Journey Church, Jan Limiero.

Bad girls are dangerous, and that can be Good!
